Well , let me show what I am talking about.

1) I held my finger down on my home screen until I get a menu that pops up.

2) I next click on shortcuts.

3) I then click on bookmarks and loaded my favorite website right
away on my home screen.

4) Now, here is the problem. I have my default browser and the Dolphin
Browser loaded on my Droid. I have my Dolphin Browser set as my
default browser. On the shortcuts that I have described above, my
bookmark shortcuts are only achieved by the factory default browser, which
I don't want. My factory default browser on some web sites have lines of
sentences bombarding each other, and this makes it difficult to make
selections. I just hate this factory default browser.

Anyone have a solution as to how I can get my shortcut bookmarks to my web sites on my home screen, to open up on the Dolphin Browser, rather than my factory default browser, is what I am attempting to achieve. Thank you so much!

Go into Dolphin. Go into your bookmarks list (open a new tab and then go to the bookmarks section). Long press on the bookmark you want and press "Add shortcut to Home." This will let that shortcut be opened with Dolphin.
