Here and befuddled!

Have had my droid for quite some time, and feel like I never really learned more than how to "function" with it...chasing kids around doesn't leave much time.

But, now I've got some space issues...and can't figure out what I'm doing wrong!

see, that's the thing. I might have half a dozen apps installed, and I keep getting a message saying that I'm low on space. I've never really gone to the marketplace...even that is beyond me!!

Every few tx messages or pixs I take causes this...I've gotta have something wrong with my settings or something, right? Is there something that I need to go in and delete?

It also seems that whenever my facebook app is updated to included fb messages, it sends me crashing down...

ok well apps are on internal memory and if its texts or pics then thats the sdcard thats low on space

maybe remove some videos/music off of that or get a bigger sd card (i like my 32GB one )

pretty much any personal files are stored on the sd card - just plug into your computer, mount usb drive, and transfer them over so you can free up some room on your sd card.

you left the stock 16GB memory card in your droid, yes? it just doesnt make sense; what you described only seems to take up minimal space (unliess you got a lot of one thing). go into settings>sdcard and whats it say for available space?

and then under internal phone storage, available 34.19mb

ok thats your internal phone storage thats low (droid comes with 8GB (i think) and now ur pretty low.

go into running services under applications and see if there is anything running thats in like the 100mb range or so or higher

k sorry i forgot what the droid came with. it comes with a 512MB ROM with only 256 of that for apps.
