helpppp..phone is acting weird

i tried to install chevyno1 froyo 4.7 i think it is and it was working fine on the reboot and install and then all the sudden it goes to this blue eye instead of red like it used to be and it is showing some type of graphics and then going right back to the droid sign and doing it over and over...i took the battery out and is still doing it what is wrong? what i need to do

Please don't double post, and it sounds like you need a different kernel

The blue droid eye and X are normal it's Chevy's bootanimation

You better stop posting the same thing over and over or the Mods will take notice.

sorry after i posted i thought i had it in the wrong category...after i turn my phone off and then on it still goes back to it and repeats it over and over and i let it go on for like 5 minutes or so..should i let it keep going..i have done took the battery out and turned it back on and it was still doing it

If it does the Eye/X then reverts back to M logo you need to try a new kernel, if it does the Eye/X then just repeats the X you should be good. You just need to wait, 1st boots can take 10 min or more

And if you post in the wrong section don't worry the mods will move it for you.

how do i reboot my phone so i dont have to install the kernal on it for now...what buttons do i hold and what do i do?ill just go back to the dl and hit no thanks for all of it and just do the froyo 4.7 for now

What droid sign? you mean it spells droid the Eye then X then droid, Eye, X?

If that is the case that is a bootloop. Battery pull, reboot recovery wipe data/cache x2 reinstall Rom, reboot, wait.

well i got it restored to my last checkpoint but when i tried to reinstall froyo 4.7 again it did it again..it seems when it is messing up is when after is starts loading the data, it goes to that same screen right when it says loading kernal whatever number it is..the thing is that when i redid the froyo download this second time, i put no thanks for everything including the kernal...do u think the problem is that the dats from the last time itried with the kernal is still on my sd card and it is using the same one? that means i need to do into my card and delete it? and reinstall froyo 4.7 all over so it wont have the kernal in there?
