help with notification bar

can anyone help me with my notification bar....i have a text message that will not delete from the bar....i can clear it and in a couple of minutes its back, verizon cant figure it out, can anyone help me????

Phantom Text Message

I had the same problem.
Send a text message to the address of the incoming one. This will cause the original text to now appear in the thread.

Delete the whole thread. That should solve the proplem.

Not able to delete text from notification bar

I have a text that continues to show in my notification bar. It does not show in ny actual text message inbox. I can clear it from the bar but it continue to notify me. I cannot actually reply to it because when I open the text there is no message content or address.
Very Strange.

I still cannot delete it. I can send and receive message to that number but never see the original text.

Any thougts
