Help with notification bar

I cant seem to get the sync symbol off the bar...... ive had the phone for 3 months and ive only had this problem for the past few days. The phone is rooted and as far as i can tell im not actually syncing .... any advise???

I'm assuming you have checked any widgets you have to turn on/off sync as well as in regular settings, yeah? If so, not sure..sorry
