help w/ setting contact pictures

Hey everyone,

So im having some problems setting pictures ive downloaded as contact pictures. Whenever i try to set the pictures it comes up saying unable to load picture. I believe this is because the download pictures are stored on the SD card and not the internal memory?

any help would be appreciated, thanks

You can have them on the SD card and still use them as contact pictures. Try placing them in the DCIM folder with the rest of your pictures and see what happens. I've used ones on my SD card in the past so I know it is possible. But I think that is where I had them located.

The other issue might be the size of the file. I know the ones I used were cropped from larger pictures posted online so they weren't very large.

tried moving it to the DCIM file and still receive "unable to load picture"

i tried using a smaller size picture as well and received the same message?

I just tried it again and was successful. My image is around 100x100 and only about 30kb in size. See if you can get it close to that and see if it keeps happening.
