...well my alias is gunmetal Orange. I have been a long time stock user of the Motorola Droid (since release) who has just recently decided to root. Thus far I have been super impressed with the amounts of information I have found on these forums. As for satisfaction of my rooted Droid, I couldn't be more pleased. I look forward to reading news and updates in the world of Droid rooting and hopefully continue to learn more about this amazing device.

Welcome to the forum and dark side (rooted). You are going to have lots of fun switching roms and themes. Just make a backup with SPR or ClockWork before you make any changes to the OS.

Thanks Mike! Yeah I took every safety step and followed detailed instructions to a "t". I make sure everything is backed up before any change is made and also keep all my backups in a folder off of the SD card. dancedroid
