Headset for full face helmet

I want to be able to really use my phone very occasionally and mostly listen to GPS navigation. I know all about Scala and other bluetooth units but do not want to spend that much right now. I am looking for a simple wired headset for a Shoei RF-1100 with a mic and that can plug right into my Droid. Preferably under $50.

Any suggestions?

If you can spring for it the Blueant F4 bluetooth unit is great and simple to use. I see it is above your budgeted figure, but you might want to take a look at it anyway.

Clairty is great - and there's no wires flapping. Pandora or mp3's make long rides nicer and the voice nav is great on a bike. You don't have to look at the screen.

Just another opinion.
