Having trouble w/ wifi tethering

I downloaded Barnacle and when I view available networks on the iPad, it's listed but when i select it, no wireless signal. Same thing happens with Wireless Tether. Also in Barnacle, the Associate tab cannot be selected.

Any suggestions?
