Harmful to download music?

Hey guys whats goin on, Does anyone know of any negative effects that can be had from using frostwire for android or any other music downloading app? the only reason i would do so would be for convenience purposes of making ringtones. Any input is greatly appreciated, i would hate for my very expensive thunderbolt to catch a virus or something from my ignorance. Thanks guys

There are great free apps on the market to help protect your phone. I suggest Lookout.

I use Music Junk. Also, read the first thing in my signature. It explains why you don't have to worry about getting a virus on your TB.

I've never had any problems with that. My friend downloaded a bunch of porn and his phone started acting up so I'd stay away from that tho.

Illegal does not mean harmful to the device.

And if you have issues with the Guidelines, you do have options.

Anyway, I havent heard of anyone having problems dl music. And like dude said, lookout works well.
