Hard button replacement

I recently swapped out my Droid 1 for the Droid X, and I'm not caring much for the hard press buttons on the X. Has anyone found an app that will place duplicates along the bottom of the screen, maybe just above or below the dialer, browser, etc soft buttons? Am I the only one who doesn't particularly care for the hard push buttons?

nope, I agree, not too fond of them easier. requires a "harder" push to activate, plus they moved the back arrow, takes some getting used to.

Has there been any progress on something that will do this? I am using a Seido rugged case and pressing the buttons... sucks.

I found an app in the market which seems to put a home button in the status bar but it was for earlier versions of android.

I wish the home button which shows up when the app tray is opened with launcher pro could always show up.
