Haptic feedback on unlock screen

is there anyway to turn off the haptic feedback on the unlock screen? ever since my update it is a bit much...

It is quite severe, I agree. Definitely different than before the update. Feels like it could break!

settings, location and security, uncheck use tactile feedback

Sorry, that is only for pattern lock.

Thanks for the education. Didn't know "haptic." Turns out it is the Greek version of "tactile" (from Latin).
