Handcent quick text screen?

Is there a way to stop the quick text box from popping up when you get a text? I really don't like it but I haven't found a way if there is one, to get rid of it.

Are you talking about the pop-up you receive that wakes up the screen?
You can disable this in Handcent's settings. Disable the "enable popup" setting under 'sms receive setting'.
