Handcent 160 character split

The 160 character split on Handcent (v4.9.1) isn’t working properly. I've has the same prob with 4.5.2 also. I’m going to show you what I entered and how Handcent split it up.

EDIT: The counter at the lower left of where you type the mesage said (34/67)5. So for some reason it broke it down into 67 character messages.

Copy and paste the text into your handcent program to see if it does it on your end too. Thanks.

I found the problem. The ¢ sign is what changed the character count limit from 160 to 67. I checked it on gosms and stock. Very interesting.
