Gtalk issues

I received the OTA 2.0.1 update for my droid this morning. Since then Gtalk loses connection and reconnects every five seconds. I've tried restarting the phone, restarting Gtalk and killing and reopening the process. Just wondering if anyone has other suggestions before calling tech support.

my wife's phone does that from time to time. even before the update so i don't think it's an update issue. most of the days it's good, but i would say 10% of time her phone does that.

Mine would do it occasionally before the update but its currently been doing it every 5 seconds since I updated 9 hours ago.

i was having this problem prior to the update. I was so hoping the update would address this issue. I guess not. i think im pretty screwed here. gtalk is have the reason i bought this phone.
