GPS Not Working

Welp I clicked on the other thread and brought me to page 42 of 42 and couldn't find GPS help anywhere without going through all 42 pages so makes sense to group all threads together.

Once again I request this thread not be moved.

Anyways, my GPS hasn't been giving me any problems but right now I can't connect my phone when trying to use navigation. Rather annoying. Did anyone have a fix posted already or direct me where in the 42 page thread I could find help?

I am having the same problem. I tried to use CardioTrainer to track my run, but it couldn't. In Cardio Trainer, it said "GPS signal could not be located" even though all of my GPS options were turned on in the Locations setting.

Has anyone else experienced this, and has anyone found a fix?

No Thunderbolt for me, but OG Droid has occasional GPS issues. a power cycle usually solves. Down load GPS Status from the market. You can see what's going on with GPS. Some how opening the app always solves my GPS issues

Now this is my first big problem. I went to use my gps and found the address I wanted to go to then immediately lost gps and cold not get it back. So far gps does not work on my phone. This could be the deal breaker for me if I can't find the resolution.

Any tips?

I just tried it again and it does the same thing. It finds the address and then it immediately loses gps. Not good.

What does GPS Status tell you? My numbers in parenthesis.
Do you have a lat/log fix? (yes)
Is it accurate w/Google Maps on a PC? (yes)
How many sats. does your phone see? (10)
How many sats. have a fix? (10)
What is your error? (9ft)

I made this change detailed in this post and it resolved my network access. I was then able to use my gps flawlessly. Give this a try. Verizon is having issues with the network for the t-bolt.

So it was the network and not GPS. I use GPS everyday and I need it to work as well as the D1. I am considering a TB. Will someone post GPS Status results anyway?
