I loved my Moto Droid until the Froyo update. I hate this phone now. It runs so slow. When I turn my screen all of the icons and widgets disappear and it takes like 30 seconds for them to re-appear. 3G doesn't seem to work as well. Many more Force Closes than before. I'm really bummed out about it. Thinking about moving to the dark side and getting an iphone.

Root that puppy and get a custom rom. Thay have lots of features and give you lots more control over... well... everything

Thanks. I uploaded launcherpro and it took care of everything! Phone runs great now and I like the options it provides. Just in case though,, how do I root my phone?
