gooogle maps closing

I am having a problem with maps closing, about 20 seconds after opening, it closes. I am sure it has to do with the update as it started the day I got the update.any suggestions?

I have Droid 1 with stock 2.2 and Google maps and navigation have been working well today.

mine had that problem yesterday and i couldent see why it was force closing all the time..of course this happened when i really needed maps to work. I rebooted my phone and uninstalled maps and reinstalled it, it still force closed. Later that night i went to look into the problem but maps was working fine..tried everything to make it force close but it wouldent. The only thing i did was uninstall the Google Buzz Widget that i had installed a week ago. Dunno if that fixed it or it may have just fixed itself.
