Google Voice Delay

I posted on the GV forum as well but I figured since there's so many members here, maybe I'd get a quicker response. I have my phone setup using GV as visual voicemail, however, I'm getting a 10-15 minute delay between someone leaving a message and my phone receiving it. Is that normal? Should it be quicker?

Gv has to go out and check it doesn't use push.

You have 2 choices

One in the settings of Google voice on you phone, switch refresh to 5 minutes instead of 15

Or 2 in Google voice website change vm setting so that it sends an SMS to your phone
