Google Sued by Oracle over Java

What does it mean? It means Oracle is looking at the 10bn per year that Google expects to make on Android and wants a cut. Simple as that.

Lol, Thats going to be a long suit. Google is so rich. Plenty of money to go into legal stuff. At least its not Apple....yet. Im sure that one is coming soon. That will be the pissing match of the decade. :wacko:

I think it's about Google changing the Java language and not releasing the source. Those are the rules of OSS. When MS did that with core java they got sued by Sun and had to comply. I think the same will happen with this. Google will open source some stuff and perhaps change some things to comply with the Java licensing agreement and call the case closed.
