Google search button not working

For whatever reason when I type a search on and hit the " search button" it doesn't yield any results. In......u switch to classic mode it.... works just fine. I have no idea what could have caused this. Kinda annoying cause I enjoy the mobile version more. Any ideas what could be the issue? Thanks
