Google map issue

I just updated to GB and everything is running smoothly. Only problem is that my google maps app can't pinpoint my position... so neither can the google navigation. I had the same problems before GB. No matter bow long I wait it never pinpoints. Is there a way to fix this or do I just have to never have the navigation again?
