Google INBOX horribly laggy on Turbo?

INBOX is stuttering and laggy as heck on the Turbo. Standard GMAIL app is smooth as silk. Anybody else seeing the lag in Google INBOX on the Turbo?

NOTE: this may be inherent to the app, not the device. But with the Turbo specs I'd think anyone on older HW would not be able to use INBOX at all.

Well at least Google doesn't have its own phone that would be wierd

Have you tried an uninstall/rə-install? It flies on my Note 3 and i6.

Yeah it is taking some getting used to, but I can already see the benefits.
