Google Glass in the NFL

The Minnesota Vikings will be wearing google glass according to Dave Swartz. Google Glass could actually work when for fundamental drill when you are going shorts and shorts but once the pads are on I do not see google glass lasting, though it will make for some interesting video. I could see the NFL using technology as a way to both better improve the game and add as a chargeable feature to sports packages. Imagine referees wearing Google Glass during live games.

I can see the future of NFL live stream. You will be able to switch between player views instead of camera angles and watch the game from their perspective. Or at least we can dream right?
