Google Contacts

I'm new to the smartphone world but I'm jumping on the Droid. One question though...I use Google for everything, and have pics associated with my contacts on the web. All the reviews I've seen (engadget, BGR etc.) have pictures associated with some of their contacts....do contact pics come up on your phone once you have them on the web?
If not, I'm hoping the Google Voice app does this.

Yes, contact pics should sync fine.

I have pictures with many of my contacts in Google.
