Forgot to come here for introductions. I am completely new to the Android market. A former BB user. Still getting used to how the Fascinate works. I just don't get the whole "rooting" thing. Two things I do not want to do, brick it or void the warranty on it. My luck would lead me to either of those ends. Anyhow, I have enjoyed perusing the site and forums and will continue to do so. I have found it very helpful. Especially learning of a different email app for my work emails.

Welcome to the forum. Your concerns are understandable. I rooted to over clock the CPU. I have made my share of mistakes and didn't brick my phone. Your warranty, on the other hand, could be affected. I'm not familiar with the Fascinate but there are processes to unroot these Droids, if you need to.
