Gonna build cyanogenmod 7 for the pro

Don't know for the inverted camera, but for the garbled picture, I think I know the reason. The camera will fail at 1280x720. I know at least 720x576 works. So I guess if we can force the camera app to use a lower resolution, it will be fine.

Well it seems you answered your own question but when your going to stock always SBF to be on save side (and also cause it wont work any other way I have tried it lol wont boot)

update time! on the thread here [Dev Thread][BETA] CyanogenMod 7 (based off cm4d2 port) - Page 287 a guy named worldofross got a build working with no camera inversion and another build since then confirmed it wasn't only his build which fixed the camera so there's a 99% chance our cameras shouldn't build inverted once i get the files they used so sit tight guys

Well it seems you answered your own question but when your going to stock always SBF to be on save side (and also cause it wont work any other way I have tried it lol wont boot)

LOL. I SBF'd and it appeared to be working fine but the SBF I used was .60 not the original .20 and when I installed the OTA 3.8.7 update I noticed that all of a sudden I had 2 navigation icons and anything sound-related like music and ringtones wasn't working. I SBF'd using the original .20, loaded the two OTA updates and once at 3.8.7 installed Droid 2 bootstrap, TBH app and am now on rooted GB. I'm gonna stay on this until CM7 is fully baked. How's it going with MIUI?


Also I noticed on XDA an app that can be used to load several ROMs and switch between them and the installed ROM without having to flash each one. Not sure if it would work on our Pro but it would be cool to switch between GB, CM7, and MIUI at any moment.

Not the place to talk about MIUI or dual boot but to answer your questions

1) why sbf to all of those when you can just sbf straight to 3.8.7???

2) MIUI is but on hold for now

3) and yes there is not really an app its kinda hard to explain from my knowledge of it i had come to my first android phone but I never really looked at it, if i remember correctly it was taken from the HD2
and ported. BUT IM ALL MOST POSITIVE THAT IT ONLY WORKS ON UNLOCKED BOOTLOADERS which we don't have for sure that's a 100% :-D

Jackpot, great work on the camera issue. Im glad to see that got worked out. Any news on the reported problems with bluetooth headsets or proximity sensor? I know you've had your hands full with the camera, but i was hoping you might be able to give us an update on these other minor bugs. Thanks again for all your hard work! I cant wait to try it out

i didn't work on bluetooth or proximity for this build (even though i probably should have) lol, but those will be my main priority tomorrow. there's a workaround for the proximity using another phone's source so i may end up using that in the long run but that source might not be the latest source so i'm not sure if we should just leave without the prox or not. bluetooth to my knowledge has working audio but the microphone is ineffective so you can hear them but they can't see you. let me know about other bugs and whatnot please!
