Gmail not synching

Anybody else having this issue. when I hit the retry button I get No connection.
Please note: all other data services are working fine.

Only my Gmail account. I haven't received a new email on my Phone since Jan. 21.

All the appropriate sync checks are checked and the password has not changed

If you are having issue like I did after a failed attempt to send a JPG via Gmail...

Go to Settings-->Accounts & Sync-->select your Gmail account.

If you see that Contacts and Calendar sync, but not mail...

Go to Settings-->Applications-->Manage Applications

Pull up Menu-->Filter

Select "All"

You should now see a list of everything including "Gmail Storage"

Select Gmail Storage

Click on "Clear Data"

Go back and try and sync your gmail....hope that helps.

Have you installed any new apps lately? I got to where gmail wasn't pushing mail. Would not show up even hours after it showed up in my gmail unless I hit "refresh". I uninstalled all the third party apps and it started synching again.

Ever since I will send a test email after I install a new app, just to make sure it didn't affect my push email.

Not sure if this is your issue, but worth a shot.

Thanks for the help guys, I ended up doing a factory reset. and it seemed to have fixed the problem. If this happens again I will let u guys know and try both of your suggestions. It was very weird. But I wish I had not of factory reset and tried Roadrash's solution. I bet that would have worked
