GMAIL Exit Question

OK - I'm not that newbie but I've got a Dumb**s question on the Gmail app. When I open and look at a couple of emails and then decide to "back out" I have to go "back" through all the emails I've viewed! I just want to "exit." How? Duh, PLEASE!:huh:

I do wish more apps would have an "exit" on the menu, though.

Agree! Each developer seems to do things differently. Perhaps someday there will be a standard for navigating through apps.

It's a legit point, though, about apps in general needing to have a clear way to exit. If you press home, yes, an app will still be running. But some apps never quit no matter what you do and don't offer a quit option, and that's why we always need these task killer apps.
