This is SERIOUSLY messed up on Apple's part as well as by the state of California. I truly hope that karma is indeed a vengeful ***** and pays Apple as well as the state of California back in spades on this. This is completely and totally uncalled for by any corporation or state agency.

If they would have returned the device before being contacted, I would bet Apple would be playing nice. But they took it apart, photographed and posted it and Apple had to lawyer up to get it back. You can bet they are going to burn him. (Or at least try)
