You guys believe this is better than Home++?

I have them both. I'm starting to use Apps Manager on Home++ as it doesn't have the App Dock.

Tell me more about Apps Manager Please!!! What is it? And what does it do? I tried Home++ out and because of the lack of the App Dock. I will not use it. With that said I think that other wise it was amazing! It ran really smooth and has a ton of great features!

First off, I apologize, it's called Apps Organizer, and you can see it at Apps Organizer v1.4.1.1 Application for Android | Tools

Basically it's a shortcut, but has different folders like Internet, Games, Tools and so on. You create, say, the Tools shortcut and a Gear icon will appear. When you press that, anything you put in the Tools shortcut will appear there. It only takes one space and you can put several programs in it.

Only prob I had was when I use full keyboard the screen would crunch and not auto fit to screen. Anyone else having that problem with GDE?

GDE has been updated to 0.1.9.9. This last update has made GDE as close to perfect for me on my droid. The cube effect scrolls smooth with 0 lag. With fast fling enabled there is not any black screens and the timing seems to be the same every time it revolves. There have been zero force closes. I have really tried to get it to start lagging by scrolling fast one way then changing and scrolling the other way, and nothing just smooth. I am happy happy with it

I respect all your posts, so when you say this, I will take your word on it. Did you run Home++ at all to compare it to? I know in the past you said you liked the way GDE has the widget that scrolls across for your shortcuts. We had mentioned using the Apps Organizer to you for Home++, so not sure if you did it or not. Curious what your thoughts are since I did subscribe to GDE but haven't used it in a few weeks.

Please forgive my ignorance here but what exactly is GDE, HOME++, stock home and panda home? I'm getting really confused here. Is it a theme or app that enables you to change your original theme? At first it sounded like a jailbreak thing that Iphone users do. Again sorry, I'm new to the whole droid and smartphone world. thank you

I gave up on GDE today when there was a 5 minute delay between the time I tried to make a phone call until it actually dialed. I went through this 6 times.

I'm now testing Home ++.

These are all variations for your home screens. One thing they all offer is more than 3 screens (although the next upgrade is to add more to the stock). Each has benefits and are worth trying out. You can download all of them and try one for a day or so. There's an app called Home Switcher that makes the swap easy.

Thank you aaf709. I appreciate the response. I'll look into it since it seems like a good app with alot of potential and I just picked up my new droid today.

App Dock

o.K. I've got an app dock on home screen. How do I load apps on it so they will scroll like in video? This one has me baffled. Also, have hero skin loaded, how do I replace skin at bottom of screen?

Thanks,Kirk

Edit: I was trying to drag a widget onto the app dock. Apps are loading fine onto app dock. Still can't figure out the skin though. When I go to personlize appearance...Change the graphical theme...GDE is the only option. Hero doesn't appear but it is downloaded.
