GB update.zip vs Verizon GB OTA update

whats the difference.....
if the update that's done through recovery mode was pulled off someones phone that was a trial version of Verizon then, would the one Verizon officially release OTA be different....?

Since Verizon hasn't officially released a final version, we have no idea. No one will know until it's released. Presumably the only changes would be some bug corrections since the update that's available works quite well without any major problems.

2.3.3 seems have some bugs. If I use the current update.zip to upgrade, can I still can update to 2.3.4 by OTA?

Know one knows. We can't predict the future. We don't know if there will be a 2.3.4 update. Chances are the official update will be the same one that's already out, possibly with some tweaks. It's doubtful that the Pro will see much in the way of additional updates.

There is a thread pretty similar to this over at the Motorola Owner's Forum. Of course over there, discussing any "unofficial" source of firmware/update is frowned upon.
