New Version of Gingerbread coming = .602

Get ready folks, just got word that there is a new updated version of Gingerbread coming in 2-3 weeks.

Version .602 on it's way to a Droid X near you.

Hope it remedies my battery life and overheating issues, as well as a few other minor ones.
The vzn folks said something was going to be coming to address all that stuff. Looks like it was true.

I am about ready to switch up my whole program. Four hours battery life is extremely WEAK.

I'm sure P3Droid will have that thing rooted and deodexed within 24 hours with an all in one installer so you can move to it from any rom. He's smooth like that.

Should be interested to see if this actually fixes the problems people are having, or creates more for others.

I'm not having any issues at all with .596 OTA, but many many people are having issues.

Have to wait and see.

I know a lot of friends who are having a terrible time with it. About time Verizon addressed this. I have people begging me to SBF it back for them. lol

My buddy has to restart his phone at least once a day, and still has issues with his browser. His phone is completely stock with OTA GB. But yet my phone is completely stock with OTA GB and I have no problems at all.

Looks like next week is when this update is coming out, must be on .596 stock GB to get it.
New radio version, and bug fixes are what's rumored to be coming.

That's interesting. Hopefully it fixes all the issues people have been having. Bad news is, they're gonna have to wipe data to get the best results.
