Gallery problems after Update to 2.2

First let me just say, I am getting really pissed off at this phone. I bought it in January, and rarely use it because its too pathetic. I just use it when I am away from my laptop.

Ok, so just today I noticed when I take a picture, and want to see what I just took, it takes literally couple of minutes to display it back. WHY???? Is there anything I can do to get it to work as it did before? This is after they updated it to 2.2.

Is there anyway to fix the call quality. People on the other side can't understand me nor can I hear them, too much crackle like sound. Anyway, luckily I don't use the phone as much as I do internet, but its really annoying.

This is now getting too much, and I am about to pay the cancelling fee, rather than paying 80 bucks for pos phone and service. Iphone is the same, so there is nowhere to go. I might have to wait a few years until they work out the bugs.

So I don't know anything about your call quality, I would say look around forums to see if anyone else had that problem and if they got a fix. As for your gallery problem. Go to your applications and hit the tab to see all of them. Scroll down to the gallery and go into its details. Check the program data. It's supposed to take up 0.00kb. I checked mine and it took up 12kb. See if maybe yours takes up a lot of space. If so clear the data (it won't erase your pictures or movies so don't worry about that, I checked that myself). Then I'd go to all of your downloaded applications and clear the caches on all of them. This will let your phone run a bit better and perhaps clear up the problem. If not then maybe one of your applications is having conflicts with the camera/gallery. Hope this helps

My entire Gallery is GONE... yet the pics are still on the SD Card...

I love my phone but these issues should not happen this late in game with an update! Anyone else know how fix this problem. The only way to get to my pics is to open the camera and back into the gallery there and still not all my pics show up!

I'm having a similar problem. My pictures prior to 2.2 are fine, but any pics I take after the Froyo update are just black/gray squares. I can't even access them (phone just idles forever until I hit Home or load a pre-2.2 pic), and if I try to send them, it crashes the Texting app. Meanwhile, the pictures I took with 2.1 are perfectly fine -- they're visible in the gallery, they load and they send. This is frustrating since the camera is really nice for a phone, and I like not having to drag a camera everywhere when I can just use my phone.

We realize that people have issues but not every issue has to be a thread. Discuss it in one area, please.
