Galaxy nexus deleting new music ive downloaded

These past couple of days my nexus been deleting new music that i add to my phone why us that ?

I'm not a nexus user but...Are you saving to the SD card or the device???

Perhaps you should consider backing up your music and other data from your SD card and reformatting it, do this with the phone, not in another device or computer.

Are you sure it is being deleted? Connect your Nexus to the computer and see if your music shows up within the internal storage on there.

sadly... that's one the one thing that bothers me about my gnex... is it doesn't have a physical sd card... just a partition of the internal memory allocated for use as an sd card....

Have you tried to resync with Google Music? I have a couple songs saved locally to my phone that occasionally disappear until I resync.

Google music is the problem i believe if i delete my download cache the songs disappear
