The second half of the Samsung Galaxy 11 football/soccer video has been made available. Just like the first half, this one uses a completely CGI rendered medium. While the visuals are fairly impressive, they are still mostly uninspired and lifeless, which is the curse of all-CGI until it can be perfected.
This second half doesn't seem to be very thrilling, and the announcer casually reminds us constantly that the fate of the world rests on the outcome. His laissez faire attitude doesn't really inspire any dread, but of course we can guess the predictable outcome even before starting the video.
It seems odd that Samsung would release this after the World Cup has finished...
Still, sometimes it's worth it to see the story's end, so here it is.
