actually get weather and toggle widget.... it looks EXACTLY like HTC weather widget and even has the animations. rain wipers and everything

This tranparency fix apparently also applies to whichever theme background png you have installed....
I patched the services.jar with X's tool and pushed it back to my Droid which has the Black Ice theme on there and it made that background png transparent, which I know isn't due to that image's opacity...

hey stratt, i'm not completely sure to be honest, i BELIEVE it just adjusts the opacity in the framework-res so i would assume any image layered onto that background would not be affected...

Froyo had a different code written into XML that controlled the framework-res... so putting a transparent image into the framework didn't matter. the patch fixes this.

what do you mean by button background?

the notification background is "status_bar_background.png

Hi Mike,

He's referring to the name of the file for the background of the "Clear" button used to clear notifications. I have the same question, I've been wanting to change it from white but don't know what file to change.
