Friends not getting my pic messages

I've had the HTC Incredible now for about 4 months, and I used to send pictures via texting (pic messages) and my phone would compress them and my friends would get them just fine. Just recently my phone downloaded an update and now my friends can't get my pictures. What happened? Does anyone know a fix for this?

Are the pics too big? I've had to crop pics to send mine.
