A Verizon employee told me about Fox Fi. Downloaded it and it worked great. In our home, we have a wireless modem. I couldn't connect to our wireless because of the Fox Fi, I guess? I powered down my phone and then turned it on again. After that, it connected with the wireless modem at home. Should the Fox Fi app only be used when traveling or at a location that does not have free Wi Fi? Thank you, in advance!

Fox fi is definitely an app that you should use to tether only when your Wi-Fi isn't available.

How it works is that it uses your mobile data and connection to create a Wi-Fi hotspot. This uses your data, and if you're not unlimited, you will use your data, also you had better password protect it ,wpa2 so others don't jump on it when you have it on and use even more of your data without your consent.
