Has any one tried of the Droid FM Transmitter car dock. I am ditching XM since everything I want is on me Droid. I really want a dock that mounts in landscape charges my phone and transmits a FM signal to my radio. Is that to much to ask?

Not to change the subject, but have you considered something better than an FM transmitter? Maybe a modulator, or hard AUX-input? I used to live in VA, and rarely in any populated area could I make an FM transmitter work in a satisfactory way.

Of course not, but I dont think there's a fix-all for your problem. I think you'll need to cave on one or two of your requirements. Sorry dude.

I searched for something like that, but couldn't find anything.

In the end, I picked up the moto car kit. Bluetooth a2dp/hsp receiver with built in FM transmitter.

Works pretty good, but sometimes it assigns you a station that is being used.

I bought an AUX-IN attachment for my stock Toyota stereo from GROM Audio and hang my phone in the car dock to charge. Works great every time.
