So I have a question for you folks. Earlier today I was powering on my Bionic after I performed a battery pull, and as I hit the power button I got a black screen with the words flashboot (s) at the top, with battery status halfway down the screen, with it also telling me to connect to USB and computer to program. I realized I had accidentally hit the volume down button as I tried to power up. So I turned it off and did it again to make sure it wasn't a fluke, then I powered it off then back on the regular way. My question is, is what did all that mean? I'm not looking to brick my perfectly fine stock Droid, and plus I don't know if it would cause a division by zero, open a stargate, or send me back in time. If you know, I would like to know, thanks.

that is fastboot mode. you can flash your system back to stock there. (not for the faint of heart as far as I'm concerned, especially if you aren't knowledgeable on the subject.) It uses ADB commands to apply fastboot files.
