As easy as downloading the apk. Works great, looks much better than the 2.0 Gallery.

I tried it....did not see the file he said to put on the SD card though.

Click on the link to the .apk file (http://droidmuff.in/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/gallery_flan.apk).
On my system it downloaded to a a zip file which I renamed to .apk I can attach it but probably better to download it from the original poster.
Worked great.

Did you have to unzip?? Illike this , but not sure what to do with it after I get it downloaded.

No, you do not unzip it. If it downloads to zip then rename it to apk first.
Then just copy the apk file onto your SD card then use astro file manager to install the apk.

I've seem ppl saying their keyboard lights and/or led notification doesn't work after installing this. Can this gallery simply be uninstalled like any other app if there are such issues?

my keyboard still lights and the notification LED still works fine. Yes you can uninstall it like any other app.
The only drawback I see is that you end up with 2 gallery apps listed.
