First Smartphone, Much Less Droid or Vibrant

So I finally took the plunge and upgraded to the Vibrant this past weekend. I'm thrilled, curious, confused, excited, exasperated, and sleep-deprived.
And, that's OK!

:welcome: Don't worry, you will still be all those things as long as you own the phone. :)

I mean that in a good way, by the way.

Welcome! Good to have you with us. I'm not familiar with the Vibrant so check out the Android phones section the Vibrant is listed so you may find some helpful info there.

Mike

Had to go see what a Vibrant was.. T-Mobile... looks like a nice phone. It's a droid so it has to be. Have fun man

Thanks!

Flyertalk forum has been a great help- looking forward to help (and helping, if possible) from you guys (and gals)- thanks!

Its NOT A DROID!!!! its an android device, if its not on verizon its not a DROID! its an android device please stop useing the term droid for all android phones its wrong only verizon has the rights to use it for their line up. Sorry but this is a small pet peve of mine with these new users and old users who dont know better.

Consider me corrected- My pet peeve? I guess I can't ask for a Kleenex anymore and use a Puffs tissue, if that's what's offered to me...

Seems to me that Verizon would not mind promulgation of their copyrighted (?) name so that it becomes ubiquitous, as it seems to be already- in effect, free advertising. (Droid is licensed by Lucas Films, right?)

Sorry, didn't mean to come off so harsh- :icon_eek:
