Falling leaves live wallpaper not working right

i started using the falling leaves wallpaper and sometimes for as long as 10 hours there will not be a single leaf and then randomnly it will work or if i reapply the wallaper. anyway to fix this?

I just want you to know you're not alone! I just noticed that my beautiful pond background showing reflected trees had no leaves in it and none ever appeared. I reapplied the wallpaper and leaves appeared, but they slowly floated to the bottom of the screen and disappeared - and then no more. It's very sad, this is the best live wallpaper I have seen.
