Failed messages

I can receive text messages but every time I try to send one it comes back saying "message failed." I called Verizon and they said my text messaging has not been turned off and there is no reason on their end why it should not be working. Anyone have any ideas?

If you have a low signal (1-2 bars) then your messages may fail, depending on how bad the service is, they can all fail.
I have the issue when I'm at my desk at work, I have almost no service there and text messages fail all the time.
If that's not the case, then maybe try another text messaging program. I don't remember the exact issue I had with my old Droid 1, but switching to Handcent resolved it.

I had this problem when underclocked or to low volted. If that's not it, you may try reactivating the phone to reset the programming.
