Factory reset / Restoring with games

I play Homerun Baseball 3D quite a bit, I guess it stores all your saved info on your phone except for your online ranking. While playing for several months and upgrading all my gear which takes forever, I unrooted for 2.1, I restored my settings which took away all my gear to when I unrooted my phone... anyone else have this problem with this game or any other?

I did the factory reset after upgrading, and yeah, I had to set everything back up, and put all my apps & games back on. And yes, I lost all my settings.
