If I factory reset my DroidX will the OS go back to 2.1? I've got so many problems with my contacts that I am considering starting over from scratch.
I initially uploaded my Outlook contact to Google with a csv file, then I synced Outlook with CompanionLink and Deja Office. Since then we've set up an exchange server at work, and I am now using corporate sync for contacts, calendar and email. I've changed CompanionLink to only sync tasks and notes. As a result of these various sync operations, I now have multiple mis-information in many of my contacts. It seems that many fields have been exchanged between contacts.
If the OS goes back to 2.1 on a factory reset, I don't know how to upgrade. Perhaps I would be bettter to manually update very contact in my phone.
Any advice that someone can gibve me regarding any of this will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
JT
