Facebook settings?

A couple of days ago I logged on to Facebook on my Samsung Tab 4 and an 'update app' icon appeared which I duly clicked.

Now the page isn't full screen, with a trending subjects column on the right taking up a third of the screen. :(

I have tried to look for a setting to disable this but to no avail.

Can it be disabled and return to full screen?

Is this only in landscape mode? I believe I had a similar situation in my Nexus 7, but I mostly use that for reading & almost always use it in portrait mode.

Yeah. They're finally playing around with tablet support. I'm not aware if there a way to turn it off. It seemed kinda cool when I first downloaded it, but will have a bit of an adjustment period.

The previous app versions left a lot of unused space on tablets imo.

I have figured out how to get back to full screen.

I was using the Facebook app downloaded from Play Store.

I have googled Facebook and logged in where I have full screen, then deleted my Play Store app. :)

Result.
