Facebook Notifications

Whenever I get notifications for facebook in the top bar, clicking the notification sends me to the browser version of facebook instead of the facebook app. Is there a way to change it so that the clicking the notification sends me to the app instead? Thanks!

It is (in theory) wholly dependent on what part of Facebook the notification came from. This of course is because (at least so far) the Facebook app is so weak and does so little that most of these things have to be viewed in the web browser (for now anyway)

How do you get facebook notifications in the top bar? The only way I get notified is through e-mail.

In the settings for the Facebook app there are a few notification options, but they don't consistently notify. Stick with email notifications for now, you're better off.
