Facebook App Fix

Thanks for trying to help man... But that site does't update... I just logged back into it and it was crap from 5 hours ago and yesterday... That imposable... I would have at least 20 updates in the past few hours... May have to have to turn the Blackberry back on...

The no updates issue is facebook not the app.... it does the same thing from my pc as well..... Facebook is trying to reduce the load on their system and they are playing with ****.... it sucks and people are pissed as it looks like nobody is posting when in fact it's just not showing you all the updated post.

Again this is a facebook issue and not the app.

But the lack of notice is a problem. I'm gettting the gmail notice but when I click on the link in the email it takes me to a blank page. Essentially there is no way to access the comment.

The touch site works fine, I just don't think you folks are using it right. If you tap the live feed/news feed tab (far left) it switches you between the live feed and news feed. The news feed shows old stuff that facebook thinks you might be interested in. you have to click it to get to the live feed to see all the newest posts .

It's pretty misleading considering the tab appears like it's only a tab when in fact it's a tab and a button when you are already on that tab.

Please provide a screenshot of this "tab" you are referring to on the Touch site/ I have Home, Profile, Friends and Inbox. Above the Home tab is the notifications tab. There is NO WAY on MY phone to change from live feed or news feed

Below the tabs you mention, you should have tabs for news feed, events, and requests. Click the news feed tab when you are already on the news feed tab and it will switch to live feed.

Hey thanks! I guess I am always learning something new! I never knew you could do that. It is still missing some posts but mostly from applications which really don't matter.
